The original layout of this townhouse on the beach really didn’t take advantage of its setting. We flipped the plan so the areas you spend most of your time, the kitchen, took advantage of the best views. Moving the kitchen to the front meant you had to walk through it a lot so the idea to make sure everything was well hidden was an important one. The dining room extends off the kitchen seamlessly. The streamlined curved joinery with everything built in gives the home a highly cotemporary efficient feel. To counteract the hardness of the design soft materials like limestone and washed timbers retain a relaxed coastal vibe.
